Alright. Time for an update.

Not much going on. Drivers ed ended....i ate sushi the other day...Im in the library listening to sublime. So things are really cool.

I talked to my bestest ever friend yesterday, Ferne. I havent talked to her on the phone for almost a year. she lives up in canada. i miss her so much....

anyways.

I henna-d my hair the other day. As seen on the pictures on my xanga. In the light, ITS SO COOL!!! its like..orange. it just looks more orange that it was.

Sam is supposed to cut my hair sometime this week or something...then hopefully lizzie can give me purple streaks :-P

alright. so todays rant is about fads.

i dont know if anyone who reads this can agree with me on this one, but sometimes the "induvidualists" really piss me off...iconsider myself an induvidual, but not in this sence, and i shall explain:

for example. Lets say that there is this really really cool band; indie rock, not many people know about. Take for example: The Shins. They were by no means main stream, up until the Garden State Soundtrack came out. Now you hear "new slang" on the radio all the time.

People who tended to like the shins were steriotipically "artsy induvidualists". I heard someone who fell under this catagory say the other day "i used to be obsessed with the shins, but then they went main stream, now i hate them zua everyone knows about them"....this sort of thing pisses me off.

If you are such an induvidual, doesnt that you mean true to yourself? If you like a band, a brand of clothing, a style, or WHATEVER, shouldnt you NOT care if it goes mainstream or not? just cuz lots of other people like it, doesnt make it any less special...

maybe im not making any sence, and i can't really explain it in a "nice" way, so forgive me if i offended anyone.

so anyways, im over at liz's house and she amde me make a livejournal, which is pretty cool. so now, livejournal people who are my friends can read my livejournal. BUT....for those who read my xanga, im still attached to you....wait. no one reads my xanga. whatever.

two weeks on atkins is up. lost 8 pounds. now i can start eating new foods like FRUIT! and more FRUIT!!! :-)
